Blizzard Entertainment is an American video game development, publishing and distribution company, headquartered in Irvine, California, and it is a subsidiary of Activision Blizzard, established by three graduates of the University of California, Los Angeles on February 8, 1991 under the name "Silicon & Synapse" and they are Michael Adham Morhaime and Allen Adham Morhaime And Frank Pierce, when the company was founded, the company focused on creating outlets for other studios' games before starting to develop its own games in 1993, such as "Rock and Roll Racing" and "The Lost Vikings", and in 1994 the company became known as "David's Chaos Studios" and and his partners renamed it to "Blizzard Entertainment".
